GPRS, EDGE,ZOOM modem Dialup Configuration

Recently Internet is came out much popular. Some body it uses his own mobile by using building modem on the other hand some person it uses by GPRS,EDGE,ZOOM modem. Each device have particular software by which we can configure Internet connection. Such as For Nokia-Nokia PC Suit, for Motorola-Motorola Phone Tools, For Samsung- Samsung PC Studio etc. But sometime this software can not work properly then you should connection manually. But here have a intresting matter is if you just install driver then without iny software you can use any Brand Mobile/Modem.

At first you see your computer have install any phone/Modem Driver. To see follow bellow step,

1. Start Menu -> (Settings) -> Control Panel -> 'Network Connections' Double click

2. Then click 'Create a new connection'. New Connection Wizard will be run then click 'Next'.

3. Select 'Connect to the Internet' then click 'Next'.

4. Select 'Setup my connection manually' then click 'Next'

5. Select 'Connect using a dial-up modem' then click 'Next'.

6. 'ISP name' which operator you useing name that operator(Exm:- Grameen, Citycell etc) then click 'Next'.

7. Phone Number will be use If Citycell then #777 and if Grameen then *99***1# write after then click 'Next'. If this *99***1# number does not work then try *99***2#, *99***3#, *99#.

8. User name, Password and Confirm password for Citycell 'waps'. No need for Grameen User. Use this account name and password...... Tik this box then click 'Next'.

9. Then Tik the box 'Add a shortcut to this connection to my desktop' then click 'Finish'.

10.Then under 'ISP name' a Dial connection icon will be created on 'Network Connections'. Your work is Finish if you are City cell user. But if you GP then you have some step.

11. Control Panel -> System -> Hardware -> click 'Device Manager'. Device Manager will Run .

12. Here 'Modems Names' will be shown. Then right click which is your modem then GO Modem 'Properties' and select 'Advanced' TAB and write with 'Extra Initialization commands:

AT+CGDCONT=1,"IP","gpinternet" then click 'OK' then close 'Device Manager'.

13. Now restart your PC and Mobile phone.

14.Now double click your desktop icon then your INTERNET connection will be START. Enjoy.

Wap Setting For Samsung Mobile

Recently we can INTERNET and WAP setup by SMS. It is available for high costly set. But which set are not so much costly then we can this setup manually. Difference between INTERNET and WAP, In Internet setup we no need for IP or Port number but in Wap setup you must be need IP or Port number.Now i am telling about samsung x200.

If You setup this set then you can setup all set( class 10). At first go,
1. wap -> setting -> Homepage.
2. Put any address (Exe- www.google.com.bd)
3. Then put IP address. (Exe- 10.128.1.2 like that ,It will be able able your Mobile sim Company).
4. Then put APN( Exe- For GP user: 'gpwap' It will be also able able your Mobile sim Company).
5. Then receive a SMS from your Mobile operator and Active it.
